PostSubject: PVE FURY ROTATION HELP   Fri Aug 14, 2009 7:20 pm

hello, i have a 80 warrior (brekkin, unfinished tale, blackhand* if u armor her)

i've been fury since i realized there were talent points, but when TG came uti was on the bandwagon like everyone else. i enjoyed being top dps in raids. however after the nerf, i couldn't pull any numbers near what other fury warriors were doing. so after being discouraged i dropped it and went arms...

but now i am itching to come back. i'm respecing today, and wanted to know a general rotation that i should be using, i see some spec builds with talent points in cleave, and i'm wondering if cleave is really used that much, same with heroic strike, or is the main rotation still BT WW WW BT Slam when it procs?

if u can help me it would be greatly appreciated

brek

Yeah not much has changed in regards to rotation. I think a lot of people go cleave because it helps OVERALL raid dps because you can cushion your numbers during AoE pulls and such. It still holds ww, BT, slam when up, heroic strike. Is still the bread and butter.

One of the big things to watch for and keep on a sperate bar IMHO is your “trinkets, racials,, deathwish and recklessness”

Basically you want to cycle through each of these things so that you just about always have some sort of “buff” up. I still use the mirror when up and then I have an AP trinket that I use. A general rule of thumb is to pop them in order of longest CD to shortest CD. IF you keep up a steady rotation of these type of buffs then you negate a lot of the 10% nerf. One thing I like to do is use BT, pop recklessness and THEN use WW. You get more crits in a shorter amount of time.

So from what I’ve experienced as well as what I’ve heard from top fury dps raiders is that THE most important thing is how you rotate your “buffs” from these type of things.

DO NOT GO APE SHYT AND BLOW ALL YOUR COOLDOWNS AT ONCE.

Raiding is a distance run, not a sprint.

For fun though, go PVP and pop everything then intercept a mage:)

Well, i became Fury again... after a long time being arms, i realized that in high-end (with a mix of Tier 8 - 9 gear) top warrior dps in raids ARE generally fury warrior. With all 10% nerf stuff and still... so i decide to return to my origins, and get back to the titans grop joy (i`ll miss bladestorm, no doubt).

Incredibly in this two days as a fury i have got some problems with fury rotation. I mean, BT WW WW BT, Heroic/Cleave when has rage, Ejecute at the end, very clear, but WHEN to use Recklessness and Death Wish buffs?

I'm very lost in this thing, if U could help i'll be really happy. cheers
