| With 3.2 patch i realized how important are addons for a better game experience... some wipes in ToC 5 Heroic teach our group the lesson: "you can lose 1 day setting UI ok, but u can lose a lot more if u dont do it". The MUST-HAVE addons (in my opinion): - Deadly Boss: ¿¿¿u dont have it??? oh dear... - Omen: dps or prot, u can live without it... - Event Alert: it's no SO important, but i like to hear valkyries riding sound when a proc appears - Grid: it's not the more easier way to look upon your raid, but is minimalist and i like it - Recount: bladestorm, bladestorm, bladestorm... There're another two that i dont use, but some friends said is important: Bartender and X-Pearl. But this is my paly friend (i know, i know...), and my first impression is always "i know what's better for warros, u take care of your fairy-bubble-wing paly". BUT maybe he's right about it, i dont know (and maybe has to apologize, not ALL palys are that bad). |

| I ditched Omen a while ago...Threat hasn't been an issue sense BC really.
I used to tank back in in BC a lot and yea it was important, no one ever pulls threat anymore if your tank knows how to push buttons lol. As a tank though i can see where it would be important.
I use Xperl over grid and bartender of course

Bartender IMHO is a must, at the very least it allows you to keybind easily and REALLY customize and group things. You can do like a single bar for just shouts and buffs, for mounts, for tradeskills, for well anything you need to group.
What's really cool is in PVP you can get a real nice setup and group things so you don't have to limit your keybindings to a few macros because you can have ALL your macros in a place you feel comfortable. For instance I have all my bread and butter attacks and skills in one area/action bar, I have my secondary skills that I use for certain situation or that are on 1min+ CD in another, then I have all my stance dance type macros (pummel, shield slam, intercept/charge) in another. So even if you're not a keybind type of guy you can grou things up so that you're not having to go from one end of the screen to another to find what you're looking for. Oh you can change how the bars lay out as well. So instead of a 1x12 bar you can have a 2x6(what i use) or a 3x4 bar. or 4x3 and so on. and you can positioin them ANYWHERE you want.
DBM is a must if you're not using DBM then you're simply not playing the game right.
Oh and pally's are that bad. |

| What i can said... excepting thai i'm installing bartender right now!!! Really looks cool how U explain it... more than PVE, i really need to have a PVP zone... each milisecond u lost running your mouse over the screen is a time that the counterpart screw u. What about agro/thread management? (Naxx Raiders). My sucking pally friend toild me that Xperl can show agro/thread of the entire raid. It's just right? |

| Yeah bartender really helped my pvp game out a lot.
As far as entire raid threat... Do you really want to see all that? I mean MAYBE if you’re tanking, MAYBE, but other than that in nax agro isn’t to much of an issue, now AOE agro is another story but you should instruct your raiders to AOE only after a few seconds of you generating threat.
Sometimes there is such a thing as TO MUCH INFO. IMHO and you can get lost in watching a bar and not watching the pat that noone saw or the stunned healer that might require you to pop shield wall or any number of other situation you should be paying attention to as a tankl.
As for DPS what do you need “threat watch” for. Hell man I broke 6k dps last night in HToC on the second phase of the last boss as a result of whirlwind and even then with all that the focus wasn’t changed from the tank. |

| Picked up Bartender4 myself...now I just gotta set the damn thing up! I agree with BT that a good UI layout can help a warrior out a ton...everything right up in your face and easy to see...especially when you're watching GCDs. |

| I was going to ask if anyone knew of an addon that let you know when trinkets procced? For instance the mirror. I find that if I hit bladestorm when it’s up my dps can break 7k on aoe pulls, but half the challenge is finding the damn icon in the 50 raid buffs I have. IS there something out there that lets you know when things like this are up? I’ve looked for it in caster bars and stuff.
Also... REND Is there a UI that lets you know rend needs to be reapplied. Malacor is that what that add-on does for you?
But yeah Bartender is a must IMHO and move them bars RIGHT UP FRONT. In the middle of the screen. I’ll be putting my UI Screen up on the blog in a minute to give an idea of what I find works for me. |

| Yea thats what Watcher does for me, even gives me a 6 second countdown. If you get it i can tell you how to configure it, i don't think it works with trinkets though.
btw I have a suggestion to make gold, run an instance with a t8.5-t.9 tank. bet him 100g that you can pull agro off him after 5 seconds. Zerker Stance Recklessness Sweeping Strikes Bladestorm Open Trade Take Gold |

| Wuajajajajaja i like the bet... poor tank, he will be nuke with the power the raging arms. About the addons, i decide to include Bartender... it's just to much usefull to skip them... I'll not install Xperl, Grid is very usefull too me, Omen is enough for thread and the faces... well, i can live without them. One adittional question: which addon is that shows numbers of hit and damage in a moving circle AROUND the screen? |

| While I didn’t bet against my pally tank I told him I was going to do it in hVH and he said, “Sure sure, if you think you can”
Approximately 6 seconds later... “Damn well it looks like you can”
For a sure fire thing though take the bet and pray the pally doesn’t know your class and then just hit challenging shout
I remember when a hunter friend of mine and I would mess with our guilds main tank. The hunter would misdirect to me and I would mocking blow to get agro real fast.
For the longest time our MT thought he couldn’t hold agro and we used to make fun of him lol.
Then he got some type of add-on or something and then he caught on:) |
