Okay, I used to say that mages were a warrior's anti-class.

If thats still true, than a Priest Mage 2v2 Combo is our own personal hell.

I fought this team for like a full 20 min, if my druid wasn't really good, it would have been a lot worse. I mean i just don't know what to do, I can break polymorph ONE TIME and fear ONE TIME, after that, I'm their CC-Bitch.

I can't ever move to fast enough to take down the priest or mage, if I actually manage to hamstring and get off a bladestorm, the priest puts up a shield which absorbs all the damage, then its back to the CC all the while, my druid is oom because i couldn't stop manaburns, the priest stole his innervate, the mage is dancing with my sheep, my kid stole the car, the goverment is reposessing my key board and my wife is leaving me for my brother!

I'm having major trouble with priest/rogue and priest dk also. I cant see how im susposed to advance if i can't get past an entire class.

Priest mage is the 8th level of hell that's not often spoken of. One on one and you MIGHT have a shot...might. IF you're fighting two that are learned in the arts of warrior killing then you're screwed.

Oddly enough i've beaten this setup before, a lot of it had to do more with well timed spell reflects and a shaman hex + bloodlust.

There's a window that opens up on mages once every 10 seconds and if your priest is a Disc priest his heals are gonna blow so you should be ok to burn down teh mage.

1st. Charge the mage. Your job here is to get of a REND, and if possible a mortal strike, usually it's just the rend before your feet are frozen in place and, YOU MUST hit enraged regen and hit the mage with a heroic throw.

YOUR healer MUST CC the priest, this is why you hit enraged regen so early.

The mage has blinked away at this point and your frozen in place. Now he's either going to toss a spell your way or he's going to sheep you, either way you have to get your spell reflect macro on and ready, in fact you must do this RIGHT AWAY. If you can time your spel reflect to go off right as soon as the mage is done casting so he can't do anything to stop things. ....get your two hander back on asap. Hit your trinket and intercept. You need to piercing howl,, mortal strike, bladestorm immediately.

ALl that takes place in the matter of 3-4 seconds and must be timed almost to the T. If oyu screw it up in any number of ways you're dead. Even when performed perfectly it's not always a sure thing. Alot of it i've found depends on your ability to burst and your luck on crits. I've 4 shotted mages before and i've also stood swining away on a mage for what seamed like an eternity.


As for priests...
Here's my take. Warriors need rage to attack. Rage to me is frustration bottled up so tightly that in the end it explodes. I think I speak for EVERY warrior EVERYWHERE when I say nothing builds rage in me more than swinging on a priest and seeing that fukin word..."ABSORB".... it might as well say "your mom blows goats" or "LOL NOOB" as it's THAT offensive and frustrating. My point is this, the MOMENT a warrior engages a priest we should get a 100 rage instantly and have it stay at 100 the duration of the fight.

For fears, it's best to NOT use your trinket but instead your skill right before they finish casting. Let them blow the 1-3 seconds casting, that's ONE more hit you get in, plus they are expecting for you to be running away NOT looking them dead in the eye with a hate so pure that it makes a KKK rally look like woodstock.

But yeah...i hate mages and priests like I hate pedophiles.

okay, im decently going to have to give that a try. Also i had to face that combo twice in that damn arena with the ramps and poles or as i like to call it, "LoS Me More Pl0x ftw kthx...place"

The worst part about absorbing (for those of you who didn't get it) is that...lets say you overpower and it hits, it gives you like 30 rage...if it gets absorbed you get...NOTHING! its like trying to get through a wall of jello by beating it with a soft pillow

See i wouldn't be having a lot of these problems if i could use my damn rocket boots in arenas...i mean rogues can sprint and druids can cat sprint. I spent over 1000g leveling engineering, a profession that you can't turn a profit with, and i get screwed out of 5 seconds of speed when i need it most. If i had that, pole humping wussies wouldn't even phase me.

Yesterday i was trying to get to a pole humping druid...i was like an inch behind him, but still out of what is considered to be "line of site"...oh i could see him though. Thunderclap, piercing howl, intimidating shout, heroic throw, bladestorm. it all missed him, AoEs and i was RIGHT behind him.

Same Arena, i mage is casting at me and my shits on CD. I move behind a pole to give myself a break....and guess what? There's frostbolts flying from across the zone, THROUGH the pole at me.....><""

LOL I HATE that fukin arena. I hate it so damn much. And here I thought I was the ONLY warrior who was experiencing the “chaos bolts and frost bolt and lava burst” THROUGH the damn pillars. I’ve given up on pole dancing all together, it’s easier for me to shield wall or spell reflect at this point.

I can’t count the arena’s I’ve lost because piercing howl or blade storm is AN INCH off the ass of my target, literally an inch.

I had a dream last night, I’ll call it more of a “unfulfilled prophecy” concerning arena. I’ve been running with a shaman lately and a few nights back we tried him going elemental and me going prot. We only did skirmishes and we only lost 1 fight of the 10 or so we tried, and that fight we lost had more to do with the shaman hitting Alt+Tab vs. Alt+1. (in case you don’t know that pretty much switches your WOW screen to your desktop or program you have running that the same time)

I’m going to be writing something up this morning on what I think a GOOD 3v3 team would be (HINT: It’s not RMP)

I'm just going to say no more f'ing "bubbles". Priest bubbles...pally bubbles...it's all crap. I remember how excited I was when I saw Shattering Throw in the patch notes! Then it came out with a long ass cast time, and it was just awesome to see it get interruped constantly.
blizz needs to get rid of invincibility cheat codes...or give warriors one...like Contra on the NES...up up down down left right left right a b b a start!

As a warrior this is want I want. I would be happy with any of these:
Bubble
2 Bubblies
Mana Burn
A Pet (everyone except rogues seems to have one now)
Or a Silence

You know I would almost just settle for some fukin magic damage mitigation. What good is ALL THAT PLATE if a spell cuts through it like a hot knife through butter?
A silence would be nice too, when in arms or fury spec.
