Ok first off NOONE EVER does that when given the choice of a two warriors and a lock because guess what...in arena a warrior without a healer is just asking for it.
Second if they do, let’s say a rogue pops up...you STUN HIS ASS. And let the lock burst HIM down first. If there are two rogues you have intimidating shouts X 2.
The thing you have to remember is that because of things like heroic throw + gag order you can pretty much negate a caster, be he healer or DPS.
With disarm a pally is nothing as is a dk, as is a warrior.
IF spell reflect works as I suspect it might I really do mean you can send back a spell to it’s owner nearly ever 5 seconds...or every 4.5 seconds when glyphed for it (which you will be doing), this includes fears, and cyclones too.
With the ability to turn a very BURSTY situation into a wet noodle slapping contest your BURST person, with a little assistance from you, can really hurt some people.
Do me a favor, go through the prot tree and look at the skill sets and talents, after I did this I couldn’t help but say...got damn that’s a pvp talent I wish I had.
I already know I can 1v1 and completely OWN everything but a disc priest (aye the bubble still be my bane) (oh but with two shield slams you could possibly remove this bubble...if the tool tip works correctly as it’s supposed to dispel ONE magic effect) In addition here is the note from the 3.2 patch concerning shield slam
Shield Slam: The benefit from additional block value this ability gains is now subject to diminishing returns. Diminishing returns occur once block value exceeds 30 times the player's level and caps the maximum damage benefit from shield block value at 34.5 times the player's level.
What I read in this is that Shield slam still CAN really hit things harder than you can hope to imagine, which tells me that if gemmed for strength and if you have a “shield block” trinket a 10k shield slam is not “out there”...I’ve hit several times for 8k with shield slam before in battlegrounds and average around 4-5k myself (i.e. a low end chaos bolt)
Look, I’m not saying it WOULD work. All I’m saying is that the “elements” of a good team are there. Burst, healing debuff and MASSIVE amounts of damage mitigation.
Oh and while you can’t put TWO Vigilances on ONE target you can put Two vigilances on two targets...
Does anyone else see the possibilities here?
Oh does warbringer remove snare effects still?
Uh yes my friend, I believe it does.
Come on and tell me that the idea doesn’t at the very minimum intrigue you. On paper and with a practiced well coordinated team this would be a casters nightmare...even the dreaded mage bastards because warbringer removes icy feet...and as I said before bubbles...uh shield slam removes bubbles does it not?
